Indication

The European Medicine Agency (EMA) approves its traditional use for the symptomatic relief of mild dyspepsia and gastrointestinal conditions. The ESCOP (European Scientific Cooperative on Phytotherapy) also indicates its use in liver and bile dysfunction, and as an adjunct in the treatment of constipation.

Properties

It is described as a digestive agent (since it stimulates the secretion of the gallbladder) and as protective of the liver, antioxidant, hypoglycemic, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, anthelmintic, fungicide, cytoprotective. This essential oil has bactericidal activity
