Indication

The European Medicine Agency (EMA), the ESCOP (European Scientific Cooperative on Phytotherapy) and the German E Commission approve its use for improving cognitive impairment (associated with age) and quality of life in mild dementia. Relieving heavy legs and the feeling of cold hands and feet, and associated minor circulatory disorders, once a doctor has excluded the possibility of the presence of a serious disease. In traditional medicine, ginkgo leaf has been used as antiasthmatic for millennia.

Properties

Ginkgo leaf offers vasoregulatory (arterial vasodilator, venous vasoconstrictor and capillary resistance enhancer, increasing blood flow), anti-platelet, antioxidant and neuroprotective properties.
