Recent studies suggest its usefulness in the treatment of excess weight and diabetes.
Traditional Uses: urinary tract infections, diabetes, edema, prevention of urinary stones (stones in the urinary tract).
Traditionally it was considered a mild diuretic and antidiabetic. It contains chemical elements responsible for its mild hypoglycemic effects. Recent studies indicate that this plant has the ability to reduce glucose peaks in blood after meals.
